Registration, Tryouts, and Practice Information

Tennis Registration:
No participation is allowed until registration and a current physical is on file with the Athletic Office.

The change is that fees are different now for each sport. There is still the opportunity for reduced pricing. Even though lunch is free for everyone we still need to push families to apply for "Educational Benefits". Reduced benefits will be 50% of the total registration fee and free benefits will remain at $25.
During July there is a good chance that the families will not see this reflected because the rollover from PowerSchool to Affinety doesn't happen until later in July. Families just need to shoot me an email with their letter from the nutrition office and I will manually adjust the pricing for them.
Sports Physical must be up to date to register and participate starting August 14th. Physicals can be scanned or emailed to me as well or brought in. If they want to Fax it they can 952-928-6172 but I don't like to encourage faxing as the physical gets put in a pile of other things that need to be faxed out by the provider and it takes the longest for me to receive them. CVS minute clinic is probably the fastest way to get one. I will also be attaching the flyer for TRIA's Free Sport Physical Dates. Central Community Clinic is another good free option but it does not open until August 8th.
Tryouts:
August 14th, 15th, and 16th 2023
8:30-11:30a.m. at SLP High School Tennis Courts. Bring your own water.
Players will know which team they'll be placed on By Thursday August 17th.
Practice:
Beginning Monday, August 21st practices will move to after school times. 3:30 to 5:15 Varsity/JV and 5:00 - 6:30 B Team. Strength and Conditioning will take place on Wednesday's from 3:30 - 4:00.
