2020 is my first year as Head Coach for the St. Louis Park Boys Golf team.  I grew up in a small town in Western Wisconsin and started playing golf at the age of 10. I played for our High School Golf team and we participated in the Wisconsin State Golf Championships my senior year.

I have lived in St. Louis Park for 25 years with my wife, Jodi, son Nathan and daughter Anna who both attend St. Louis Park High School.

Golf is a passion of mine. I enjoy teaching, playing, talking, watching, practicing, competing and all things golf related. During my non golf time, I work at Progressive Insurance.

I will do everything I can to create a competitive cohesive team and an atmosphere where everyone can learn and enjoy the game.

Bio
My name is AJ Naatz and I am a first year teacher with St. Louis Park where I teach Special Education at the middle school.  I graduated from UMD in December of 2018.  While on campus I played football for 5 years.  I will come to the team with experiences ranging from many different sports and hope to develop our athletes into more than just good golfers.  Sports has played a major role in my life and I hope to pass those experiences on.  Golf has been a big part of my life since I was a young child and am excited for an opportunity to work with the golf team this Spring.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.  Best wishes.

I am excited to be a part of the coaching staff this year! I am Minnesota born and raised have been a Saint Louis Park resident for the past 3 years, graduated from the U of M in 2015 and received an Evans Scholarship. I played high school golf with Mounds View from 2007-2011.

Golf is in my blood as I have been playing golf since I was old enough to swing a club and I currently work in the golf industry. I am excited to help each player accomplish his goal on the team, whether is just to have more fun, or to get better.

High school golf brought me some of my best memories from my childhood and I'm excited to help the team build those great memories as well!

I am excited to join the St. Louis Park Boys Golf team as an assistant coach.  I have been playing golf since
the age of 14.  Though I have played a wide variety of sports, golf is the only one in which my passion continues
to grow.

I was born and raised in South Minneapolis and am a graduate of Minneapolis Roosevelt High School
and the University of Minnesota.  I currently live in Eagan with my wife, Buffy.  Outside of golf, I work as
an anesthetist at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.

Golf is a game that is enjoyed for a lifetime.  As so, I believe that a strong emphasis should be placed on the
fundamentals of the game.  I look forward to helping the experienced players succeed, as well as, grooming
the development squad for future success.

2020 will be my first year as a co-coach for the St Louis Park Golf Team. I've been playing golf since the age
of 8.  Growing up in Iowa I played 3 years of high school golf.  Summers were full of practice, play, and
competing.

I have lived in St Louis Park for 12 years.  My wife, Jenny, and I have two dogs, Renzo and Obie.
When I'm not on the golf course I work for ESG Architects as a Project Designer.

The game of golf has given me the best highs and lows the game can offer.  There are too many life
lessons learned through the game to count.  The life long friends I've made are priceless.  As co-coach
I will try to help the team get as much as they can out of this great game.
